Sunday Service

The purpose of our Sunday Service is to gather together to worship God as a family. We believe that it is not just a meeting, but an opportunity to hear from God through His Word and through others. No matter where you are in your faith journey, you are welcome to join us as you are every Sunday.

You can expect:

  • Authentic worship music so that we may praise Him together
  • Solid Biblical teaching that applies to your life
  • Real stories about what God is doing in people’s lives
  • Conversation and fellowship before and after each gathering

Our Sunday Services are at 10:30am, and we currently meet on campus at UB in the Student Union, Room 330.

The first service of the spring semester is Sunday, January 25th.

Life Groups

Life Groups exist so that we can gather together and study God’s Word in more intimate settings. These are essential weekly rhythms for H2O as they provide opportunity to know others and be known. You can expect to Study God’s Word, pray together, and be a part of a family who loves God together. Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or haven’t ever been, you are welcome to join us at Life Group.

We have two different Life Groups who gather weekly, one on Tuesdays and another on Wednesdays to accommodate your busy schedules! Life Groups for the spring semester begin, January 21st (Wednesday) and 27th (Tuesday). Contact one the Life Group leaders if you have interest in joining!

The Well

Interested in learning what it might be like to follow Jesus together? The Well is our discipleship class and program. In The Well, you’ll learn the vision of our church as well as learn what it looks like to be a follower of Jesus. As part of the program, you will be paired with a Well mentor (a member of H2O Church) that will meet with you for the duration of the class to help you grow in your love for Christ. The Well is 6 weeks long, and anyone is welcome to attend. This is also required for those interested in becoming members of H2O.

The next Well class will be in Spring 2026. Each class will be about an hour long, on Saturday mornings in Commons 200.

Spring Break BGSU 2026

We will be headed to Bowling Green, Ohio during UB’s spring break (March 14th-20th). On this trip we will serve H2O on the campus of Bowling Green State University! Over the course of the week there you can expect opportunities for evangelism, outreach, and spiritual development! The cost of $100 will cover travel, lodging, and meals while in Bowling Green.

Leadership Training (LT)

Adirondack Leadership Training (ADKLT) is a nine-week summer discipleship program for college students.  Students who attend Adirondack LT work a full-time job, hear from pastors from around the country several nights a week, spend an entire day each week with other LT participants on what’s called Team Day, and attend a weekly small group. Adirondack LT is designed to stretch and challenge you while also giving you opportunities to have fun and develop amazing friendships – plus you’ll be living and working at the Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks in Silver Bay, NY, located right on the shores of beautiful Lake George.
