Sunday Service
The purpose of our Sunday Service is to gather together to worship God as a family. We believe that it is not just a meeting, but an opportunity to hear from God through His Word and through others. No matter where you are in your faith journey, you are welcome to join us as you are.
You can expect:
- Authentic worship music so that we may praise Him together
- Solid Biblical teaching that applies to your life
- Real stories about what God is doing in people’s lives
- Conversation and fellowship before and after each gathering
Our Sunday Services are at 10:30am in the UB Student Union, Room 330. We meet on campus to be accessible to students, but welcome anyone from the Buffalo area!
The first service of the fall semester is Sunday, August 23rd. We hope to see you there!
Life Groups
Life Groups exist so that we can gather together and study God’s Word in more intimate settings. These are essential weekly rhythms for H2O as they provide opportunity to know others and be known. You can expect to Study God’s Word, pray together, and be a part of a family who loves God together. Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or haven’t ever been, you are welcome to join us at Life Group.
We have Life Group Tuesdays in Baldy 101 and Wednesdays in NSC 218, both at 7pm. During the school year we have two different Life Groups who gather weekly to accommodate your busy schedules! Life Groups for the fall semester begin, August 25th and 26th. Contact one the Life Group leaders if you have interest in joining or want to know more!

The Well
Interested in learning what it looks like to follow Jesus together? Want to know more about H2O Church? In The Well, you’ll learn the vision of our church as well as learn what it looks like to be a follower of Jesus. As part of the program, you will be paired with a Well mentor (a member of H2O Church) that will meet with you for the duration of the class to help you grow in your love for Christ. The Well is 6 weeks long, and anyone is welcome to attend. This is also required for those interested in becoming members of H2O.
The next Well class will be starting August 30th, 2026. Each class will be about an hour long at 6:30pm on Sunday evenings in Commons 200.
Fall Getaway
Fall Getaway is a great way to unplug for a weekend in order to connect more with God and others.
It is a time for friendship-building, teachings, worship, enjoying the outdoors, playing sports, and focusing on our personal relationships with Christ. Fall Getaway will be at Inspiration Hills Camp (4819 West Easton Rd, Burbank, OH 44214) and the cost will cover lodging plus breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday.
We are so excited for this retreat and to be able to join our sending church (H2O Cincinnati) for the weekend!
Dates: October 2nd and 3rd.
Cost: $40 (if cost is an issue please let one of our staff know)
